With the success of SMRUTHI the enthusiasm and confidence among the NAAVAAites was grown enormously to conduct the silver jubilee celebrations on the occasion of completion of 25 years from the inception of the school. With long term determination of the NAAVAA board members and few consistent supporters among the members of NAAVAA and with a painstaking efforts combined with structured planning and execution the most awaited silver jubilee celebrations was held in a festive mood.
There were series of meetings held at regular intervals participated by numerous enthusiastic and responsible NAAVAA members in Hyderabad and in various district headquarters before making the final schedule. Attempts to meet District Collector of Nalgonda and other key decision makers were made number of times with persistent interest in getting the final sanction of Rajiv Vidya Mission building in the desired location in the school premises to harbour the Knowledge Resource Centre as thought through by the NAAVAAites.
Silver Jubilee Celebrations – 17th & 18th Novermber 2012: The two day program for celebrating silver jubilee was planned into multiple short activities. The first day started with registration of alumni and other delegates in separate counters in systematic way so that every alumni member or guest or delegate gets proper information about two days program besides receiving a welcome kit and information regarding accommodation, food and logistics arrangements etc. At around 10.30 AM the Chief Guest of the first session was given guard of honour by the NCC and Scouts with a beautiful parade. The first session has inspired all the audience including children and adults by the professional way of organizing the event and most importantly the professional speeches of the elite speakers such as Sri. Narasimha Reddy garu, Justice of High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Sri. Appala Prasad garu, President of Swarna Bharathi Trust, Sri. SCV Subrahmanyam garu, the First Principal of the school and other guests on the dais. Souvenir of Silver Jubilee Celebrations was released in this session along with the first edition of “Poorva Vidyarthi“ magazine dedicated for Old students of any educational institution. Felicitations of teaching and non-teaching staff who worked in the institution was done with all love and affection of the NAAVAA members in the middle of waves of applauds by the current students during post lunch session on day one. The session of felicitating teachers by the old students was nothing but a token of respect they have towards the teachers who have moulded them as the adults they exist now. This session was an event for the life in the lives of each and every student witnessing as through this small action they could show all the gratitude they have towards the teachers. In the evening there were cultural programs organized by the current students along with some of the NAAVAAites which was thoroughly enjoyed by each and every person present at that moment. Day two began with games and sports like badminton, volley ball, tennicoit etc which was a moment to spend by the old students as a child in the school playground after years of leaving the campus. An annual medical camp was conducted in the ground premises by NAAVAA with few of NAAVAAites handling the minor illnesses and health education to the current students, staff and family members of staff in the morning hours of day two. A career guidance program was conducted for 9th and 10th class students in the hall of Rajiv Vidya Mission building in school premises which helped clarify the doubts of students and helped in motivating the students for higher aspirations in life both academically and professionally. A convention of old students was conducted in the stage area during the pre-lunch session on second day where in free talk, inspirational songs etc were encouraged by old students and current and ex- staff of the school. The session helped the audience in getting some motivational tips for their professional life. Evening session on day two conducted as a closing session which was headed by the Member of Parliament, Sri. Gutta Sukhendar Reddy garu, who have not only inspired the students for better education but also granted some funds from MP Lads for providing inner road in the school, fencing around the campus, ambulance vehicle and librarian post etc. Inauguration of Swami Vivekananda Silver Jubilee Knowledge Resource Centre (SVSJKRC) was done by the honourable MP before the closing session. Guard of Honour by NCC and Scouts was liked by the honourable MP very much. With more than 1000 current students, more than 200 teaching and non-teaching staff and more than 500 alumni participating actively and enthusiastically, by the end of the second day, every NAAVAAite was returning home with a joyful moment of their life because such an occasion happens rarely and everybody felt fortunate to witness such an event.
